All versions of Microsoft® Windows© including legacy Windows 9x versions


What are the requirements to run imageIT ?

MS DOS 6.22, FreeDOS, WinPE or BartPE.

imageIT Professional Edition includes 1) PXE Server MSI Package 2) Boot Manager 3) Differential Backup

 


How does the file injection feature work?
imageIT supports the option to inject files into a FAT32 based partition image file. This eases the maintenance of image files

Does imageIT support compression?
Yes.  There are 10 different compression levels.

Does imageIT suport splitting of image file?
Yes. 600 MB is recommended so one can burn the image files on CDs.

What are the command line options ?
 
/backup for image backup
 /restore for image restore

 /diskcopy for copying from disk to disk
 /inject for file injection

  For example:
 
  imageit /backup /part:0:1 /image:X:\WinXP.IMG
   imageit /restore /part:0:1 /image:X:\WinXP.IMG

   imageit /diskcopy /hd:0:1
   imageit /inject folder_name filename /image:X:\WinXP.IMG
