Internet Threat Intelligence

Internet Threat Intelligence (ITI) is the practice of collecting, analyzing, and applying data about cyber threats that originate from or operate on the public Internet.  It takes raw Internet‑exposed data — devices, URLs, IP behavior, scans, attacks, malware activity — and transforms it into actionable insights security teams can use to prevent, detect, or respond to attacks.

The software provides links to various Internet Intelligence Platforms and option to add more suitable for speedy investigations.

Platforms

Shodan maps your organization’s attack surface and reveals unknown assets. It shows open ports, banners, software versions, and device types that the attackers are targeting.
urlscan.io is a web sandbox that analyzes URLs and webpages by loading them in an automated browser and recording network activity. It provides deep visibility into how a webpage behaves — domains contacted, scripts loaded, redirects, cookies, DOM, and screenshots. It flags potential phishing or malicious sites.
AbuseIPDB is a platform for reporting and identifying malicious IP addresses involved in hacking attempts, spam, scanning, and abusive behavior. It tracks brute‑force attackers, scanners, botnets, spam sources and helps SOC teams validate whether an IP is malicious
VirusTotal specializes in malware, file, and URL analysis, making it one of the deepest technical intelligence platforms available. It provides multi‑engine malware verdicts, behavioral sandboxing, and inter‑IOC relationships.
The software provides configuration options to add other Internet Threat Intelligence Platforms, empowering the SOC teams validate whether an IP is malicious.
